Amid the busyness of daily life and the demands of service, the volunteers of PBB (Pag-aaruga sa mga Buntis at mga Bata/Service for Pregnant Mothers and Infants) gathered in an atmosphere of joy and reflection at Villa Niagara, Laguna, Filipina. For three days, from October 27–29, 2025, the recollection and community-building event became a sacred pause, a time to reconnect with the true source of strength: faith, hope, and love. Guided by Fr. Agung Nugraha, SS.CC and Sr. Patricia, SS.CC, participants were invited to look within their hearts, rediscover meaning in their mission, and renew their spirit as individuals and as one community of compassion.

Through moments of reflection, group sharing, prayer, Eucharistic and joyful activities, the volunteers rediscovered their calling to be a bearer of hope. They were reminded that true strength is not the absence of weakness, but the courage to keep walking in faith despite life’s challenges. In every story of a pregnant mother and every smile of a child they serve, they encounter the face of Christ, encouraging them to continue their ministry with gentle hearts and steadfast love.

This recollection was more than an annual gathering; it was a spiritual renewal that rekindled the fire of community and commitment. In the peaceful place of Villa Niagara, Laguna, Filipina, the PBB volunteers strengthened their bonds as one body in mission. The theme “A Strong Person, A Bearer of Hope, and A Solid Community” came alive through shared laughter, heartfelt conversations, and prayer. From this sacred time together, they go forth once more, bringing God’s love to the mothers and children they serve, carrying hope into a world in need of compassion and solidarity.
